Terms & Uploader Licence

These terms cover your use of Qatar Supercars (“we”, “the site”) and the photos and videos you post. In short: post only what you own, keep plates and people private, and keep it legal.

1. Who can use the site

You must be 18 or over to create an account. One account per person. Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for activity on your account.

2. What you can post

• Photos and short videos of cars you own, or cars you photographed yourself in public in Qatar.
• Content you created yourself, or that you have the rights to share.

3. What you can’t post

• Readable number plates. Mark them with the blur tool. We also detect and blur plates automatically, but the responsibility is yours.
• Identifiable people, including faces, without their consent.
• Drifting, stunts, street racing, speeding or any unsafe or illegal driving.
• Watermarks, dealer or brand logos added as overlays, advertising, or sales listings. This is not a marketplace.
• Anything offensive, defamatory, or that breaks the laws of the State of Qatar.

4. Moderation

Every post is reviewed before it’s published. We may edit blur boxes, correct car details, reject, hide or delete any post or account, at our discretion, including when someone reports it.

5. Your licence to us

You keep ownership of your photos and videos. By posting, you grant Qatar Supercars a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize, blur, crop and share your content on the site and on our official social media accounts (including Instagram), with credit to your username or Instagram handle. The licence ends when you delete the post or your account, except for social posts already published and reasonable backup copies.

6. Your promises

You confirm that you took the content yourself or own the rights to it, that it follows these terms, and that our use of it as described won’t infringe anyone’s rights. If it does, you’re responsible for the claim.

7. Featured placements and advertising

Featured placements are paid and are always labelled “Featured”. Ads are labelled “Ad”. Paying for a placement doesn’t exempt a post from these rules.

8. Takedowns

If you see your car, your face, your plate or your photo posted without permission, use “Report this post” or email hello@qatarsupercars.com. Posts reported by several people are hidden automatically while we review them. The full process, response times and how to appeal a mistaken takedown are in our Copyright & Takedown Policy.

9. Trademarks and affiliation

Car marque and model names are used on the site for identification only — we don’t use manufacturer logos. Qatar Supercars is an independent community platform. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer or dealer, nor by any Qatari government body, tourism authority or motorsport federation. “Qatar Supercars” and our logo are our own marks.

10. Liability

The site is provided as is. Specs and figures are approximate. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the site.

11. Law

These terms, and our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Copyright & Takedown Policy, are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. We may update them; if we make significant changes, we’ll ask you to accept the new version.
